Aquí y Ahora: Asatoma
(Ignacio Escribano)
Aquí, y ahora
Tan todo y tan nada
Siendo, y desapareciendo
Sin más certezas que todas mis dudas.
Aquí y ahora
Tan nadie y tan todos
Oscuro, y tan incandescente
¿no ves?
Infinito, circular.
Nuestro amor: eterno
Sin principio, ni final.
Latidos donde nunca más entrará el tiempo…

Here and now: Asatoma
(Ignacio Escribano)
Here and now
Such all and such nothing
Being and disappearing
With no more certainties than my doubts.
Here and now
Such no-one and such everyone
Dark, and so glowing
The blind also dream at night.
Let's leap, fearlessly,
Gravity will do the rest
The infinite will absorb the bodies.
Let's let go, my darling,
There is a place for eternal love
Here and now I will love you, timelessly.
Heartbeats where time will never again enter...
Return, to here and now,
Life is so short-lived
Can't you see? Love is the word
Written on the water that does not return.
Return, to here and now
The past has passed,
And the future, that dramatic illusion,
Is as real as the blue of the sky.
Let's live, fearlessly,
Silence is the language of love
The rest is poor translation, in verses.
Let's be, my darling,
With no beginning, or end or identity:
Just a clumsy intensity, beating.
Heartbeats where time will never again enter...
It all flows,
It all changes
It goes, comes and leaves.
Here and now: eternal
No beginning and no end.
Heartbeats where time will never again enter...

O que é o que é
(Gonzaguinha)
Cantar (y cantar y cantar)
La belleza de ser un eterno aprendiz.
¡A meu deus!
Cantar (y cantar y cantar)
La belleza de ser un eterno aprendiz.
¡A meu deus!

And life? What is life?
Tell me brother.
Is life a heartbeat?
Is life a sweet illusion? What is it?
And life,
Is it wonder or pain?
Is it joy or lament?
Or what? Or what? My brother.
Living, and feeling no shame for being happy
Singing (and singing and singing).
The beauty of being an eternal trainee.
Oh my God!
I know
That life could be better, and it will.
So do not stop me from repeating,
It is beautiful, it is beautiful, it is beautiful.
There are those who say
That our life is nothing in the world.
A drop, a lapse,
That it gives not one second.
There are those who say that it is a deep, divine mystery.
It is a puff from the Creator
In an act overwhelmed with love.
You tell me it is to fight and to feel.
He tells me: “Life is living”.
She tells me: “Dying is better”,
Because she is not loved,
And the verb is to suffer.
I only know I trust that lady,
In whom I place strength and faith,
We make life
As we can, we want or it happens.
Always wanted
Even though it is wrong
No-one wants death
Only health and luck.
And the question whirls.
And the head excites,
I prefer purity
In the children’s answer
That life is beautiful, it is beautiful.
Singing (and singing and singing).
The beauty of being an eternal trainee.
Oh my God!
I know
That life could be better, and it will.
So do not stop me from repeating,
It is beautiful, it is beautiful, it is beautiful.

Canta
(Ignacio Escribano)
Canta
Cuida del que tienes a tu lado,
Y canta.
Por la paz en esta Tierra,
Canta.
Para despertar una sonrisa,
Canta.
Hara Hara; Hara, Hara Om.
Canta,
Cántale a la vida desde tu ventana.
A las formas infinitas de las nubes,
Canta.
Canta.
Radhe Krishna, Hari Om, Satchiatnanda,
Narayana, Shiva Om, He Nanda Nanda
Canta…

Sing: Hara Om
(Ignacio Escribano)
Sing,
Mind the one next to you
And sing.
For peace on the Earth,
Sing.
To awaken a smile,
Sing.
Till your name vanishes in the emptiness.
Sing.
As if releasing statues from stones,
Sing.
To put an end to captivity,
Sing your song that hasn’t been sang yet.
Sing…
Sing and let the flower open,
And deliver your song of love to the wind,
And its scent.
Sing,
With all your might and breath,
Sing.
Tell life what’s going on.
Soak it with the dew of your tears.
Till there is no more pain in your throat,
Sing.
Till the sewing of your soul are seen,
Sing.
It is in a song that we have that hand
That relentlessly raises you up.
Sing…
Sing and don’t let a wounded warrior
Take a song of love out of your hands.
Nor its fragrance.
Sing,
Love can do anything,
And the whole world might come to pieces if you don’t sing.
Sing,
Your voice can do anything,
And the Universe might come to pieces without your love.
Om, Shiva Om, Hara Om
Hara Hara; Hara, Hara Om.
II
Sing,
Sing to life from your window.
To the endless shapes of clouds,
Sing.
To prisoners, friends, brothers and sisters,
Sing.
To the mother, to the father, to a sleeping animal,
Sing.
To the one who whistles in the morning,
Sing.
Radhe Krishna, Hari Om, Satchiatnanda,
Narayana, Shiva Om, He Nanda Nanda,
Sing…
Sing and let the flower open
And deliver your song of love to the wind,
And its scent.
Sing,
To see with new eyes,
Sing.
The song is pure, real, magical.
It is there where life is.
Sing,
Nothing but love is needed,
Sing.
If the singer hushes, life mutes.
Sing,
Don’t be afraid of death,
I was also born to be brief.
Sing and don’t let a wounded warrior
Take a song of love out of your hands.
Nor its fragrance.
Sing,
Love can do anything,
And the whole world might come to pieces if you don’t sing.
Sing,
Your voice can do anything,
And the Universe might come to pieces without your love.
Om, Shiva Om, Hara Om
Hara Hara; Hara, Hara Om.

A Veces, Flor

A veces, flor
(Ignacio Escribano)
I
¿Quién cuida a quién
en el jardín de Dios?
A veces, jardinero soy;
a veces, flor.
Aunque no soy el hacedor
A veces siento.
Que soy un socio del creador
En su misterio.
Ando sintiendo por la luna.
Ando viviendo por el sol.
II
Frente al tablero, el jugador,
Juega su juego. (trama su juego)
Sesgado alfil, ladino peón,
Rigen sus dedos.
Con lento amor, en su rincón,
Piensa severo.
¿Cuál es el Dios detrás de Dios?
Pregunta el ciego. (en este juego?)
Ando sintiendo por la luna.
Ando viviendo por el sol.
III
De otro tablero, yo también,
Soy prisionero.
De polvo y sueños, y un azar
En blanco y negro.
La eternidad, en un suspiro,
Frente al espejo.
Me miro y ya no sé cuál soy,
Cuál es real y cuál reflejo.
IV
¿Quién cuida a quién
en el jardín de Dios?
A veces, jardinero soy;
a veces flor.
¿Quién cuida a quién
en el jardín de Dios?
A veces, jardinero soy;
a veces flor.

Sometimes, a flower
(Ignacio Escribano)
I
Who tends to whom
In the garden of God?
Sometimes, I am a gardener;
Sometimes, a flower.
Even though I am not the doer
I sometimes feel
I am a partner of the creator’s
In his mystery.
I go about feeling for the moon.
I go around living for the sun.
II
In front of the board, the player
Plans his move.
Slanted bishop, cunning pawn,
Rule his fingers.
With slow love, in his corner,
He sternly thinks
Who’s the God behind God,
In this game?
I go about feeling for the moon.
I go around living for the sun.
III
From another board,
I also am a prisoner.
Of dust and dreams, and chance,
In black and white.
Eternity, in a sigh,
In front of the mirror.
I see myself and I no longer know which one I am,
Who’s real? Who’s a reflection?
IV
Who tends to whom
In the garden of God?
Sometimes, I am a gardener;
Sometimes, a flower.
Who tends to whom
In the garden of God?
Sometimes, I am a gardener;
Sometimes, a flower.

Tus ojos,
Tus ojos son…
Tus ojos son…
Tus ojos,
Tus ojos son…
Luz desde altamar.
En tus ojos
El puente que cruza el sol.
Verdad, belleza, bondad.
El milagro de la flor.
Tus ojos,
Tus ojos son…
Tus ojos son…
Tus ojos,
Tus ojos son…
Silencio y canción.
En tus ojos
Luz de la primera luz.
Verdad, belleza, bondad.

Y un instante desaparece;
Dejo de ser,
Es un latido que falta.
Podrá llevarse el tiempo
-aquel artista minucioso e incansable-
El canto, la danza, la poesía,
Pero siempre existirán tus ojos.
Norte de mi alma.
Fuego primordial.
Tus ojos,
Tus ojos son…
Tus ojos son…
Tus ojos,
Tus ojos son…

Jungles, rivers, trees,
Clouds, woods, creeks, mountains...
The whole universe in your gaze,

It pinches my heart
And an instant disappears,
I cease to be,
It is a heartbeat missing.
Time -that probing and tireless artist-
Can take away the singing,
The dancing, the poetry,
But your eyes will always exist.
North of my soul.
Primordial fire.
Secrets of the wind.
Light of eternity.
In your gaze mi whole life became yours.

Luz: Satchitananda
(ignacio Escribano)
Satchitananda…
Estoy corriendo
Hacia tus brazos
En el silencio
Me estás llamando
Y en este sueño, mi corazón
Es una pluma en tus manos.
Todo el misterio
De lo que siento
Es tan sublime
Como una llama,
Como la sombra de nueve noches,
Como un océano en calma.
Aunque es tan vasto
El río que baja
Un poco de agua
Calma mi sed.
Sólo un segundo
De tu mirada
Calma mi ser.
Satchitananda…
Cierro los ojos
Me abrazas fuerte
Dejas que hable
No dices nada.
Tu silencio es un océano
Arroyitos mis palabras.
Todo sucede
Por vez primera
Como aquel río
De tiempo y oro,
El rostro en el fondo del espejo
Es el mío, el de nadie y el de todos.
Todo sucede
Y desaparece
Como aquel río
De tiempo y oro,
El rostro en el fondo del espejo
Es el mío, el de nadie y el de todos.
Bajo la eterna rueda del cielo
El largo sueño deja de ser.
Sólo un segundo
De tu mirada
Calma mi sed.
Todo se vuelve luz…

LUZ: SATCHITANANDA
(IGNACIO ESCRIBANO)
I am running
To your arms.
In the silence
You are calling me.
And in this dream, my heart,
Is a feather in your hands.
All the mystery
Of what I feel
Is as sublime
Like a flame,
Like the shadows of nine nights,
Like a calm ocean.
Even though it is so vast
The passing river,
Some water
Quenches my thirst.
Just a second
Of your glance
Quenches my being.
SATCHITANANDA…
I close my eyes
You hold me tight.
You let me speak,
You say nothing.
Your silence is an ocean,
Streams are my words.
Everything happens
And disappears,
Like that river
Of time and gold;
The face in the back of the mirror
It is mine, it is nobody’s and it is every one’s.
Below the eternal wheel of the sky
The long dream stops being.
Just a second
Of your glance
Quenches my thirst.
Everything becomes light…

(Ignacio Escribano)
RADHE RADHE GOVINDA RADHE X4
GOVINDA RADHE GOPALA RADHE RADHE RADHE, RADHE GOPAL X2
RECITADO

RADHE RADHE GOVINDA RADHE X4
GOVINDA RADHE GOPALA RADHE RADHE RADHE, RADHE GOPAL X2
RECITATION
What is life? What’s this confusion? How did this long dream begin?
We are made and unmade like a child plays shaping mud with his hands.
We are born to die, and we die to be born.
We last as long as a drop of dew on the back of a leaf.
I can see people suffering, but I can’t see people delving into the reasons for pain.
Is there a greater illusion than looking for joy and certainty in the ephemeral?
The potter’s wheel seems still when it is in fact moving at great speed; the same happens with things and beings in this world that change and fade at a rhythm that is steady, subtle, relentless, vivacious…
Incense particles fall on the wood.
There’s no smoke or bragging in the scent they give away.
Similarly, the fire of knowledge burns ignorance and turns it all into one in the shape of ashes. There are no longer two, or three, nor a hundred…
I beg you to instruct and guide me so that my effort can free me for ever of anguish, fear and pain.
Whoever you are, and wherever you are, I beg you to give me back the light that shines brighter than the sun, the fire and all of the stars, and that is, at the same time, free from all of them.
Do not let go of me, do not let go; since there is no greater blessing than your eternal company and I have not been able to live without you in and out of my heart for a long while now.

Saberse eterno.
Domar la luz
No es más que despertar
De un largo sueño.
Domar la luz,
Como una estrella, que cae;

Taming the light,
Is sharing love
with ten thousand hearts sunk in drowsiness.
Taming the light,
Is not gripping, but letting go:
It is daring to delve into
What's illusion, what's truth.
Taming the light
Is no more than realizing,
Knowing one is eternal.
Taming the light
Is no more than waking
From a long dream.
Taming the light,
Like a star that falls;
When no-one is even looking at it
In its fleeting time.
Taming the light,
Is not embracing the cross,
It is rendering pain,
It is bending down to love.
So many prayers to one and only God.
So many languages for one and only land.
And here I am, a simple singer,
Between word and silences.
So many songs to one and only sun,
So many stars to one and only sky,
And here I am, with my guitar,
Between the branch and the flight.
Taming the light
Is not being absent, but loving,
Knowing one is eternal.
Taming the light
Is nothing but waking
From a long dream.
